Field Technician - Exploration Drilling Short Description

You will join a large-scale exploration drilling program supporting a tungsten project in North Queensland. Working as part of an established field team, you will contribute to RC and diamond drilling activities across a remote exploration site approximately 130km northwest of Cairns.

/n

This contract opportunity is due to commence at the end of August and will run through to December. You will work day shifts on a 15:6 roster, flying into Cairns before travelling to site by road. Camp accommodation is provided, with shared facilities and Wi-Fi access.

You will play an important role in supporting exploration outcomes, maintaining accurate field data and records, and ensuring drilling activities are completed safely and efficiently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support RC and diamond drilling programs onsite

Complete logging, sampling and field data collection activities

/n
Maintain accurate field records and reporting

/n
Follow site safety, environmental and operational procedures

/n
Work collaboratively with the wider exploration team

About you

/n

/n




Proven experience in exploration geology or field technician roles

/n
Strong capability across RC and/or diamond drilling programs

/n
Comfortable working in remote and camp-based environments

/n
Current manual driver's licence and ability to pass medical and D&A;

/n
First aid certification is desirable
