We are seeking a Workplace Trainer/Careers Advisor responsible for coordinating training, assessment and career development support for employees. This includes designing and delivering learning programs from Certificate II to Diploma level, facilitating workplace learning and managing assessment processes. The role also provides vocational pathway advice, career and study planning, mentoring and job search support, particularly for employees with limited digital skills, incomplete secondary
education or English as a second language. Where required, the role supports employee redeployment following redundancy and assists injured employees who are unable to return to their previous role.
The successful candidate will have:
TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent, or willingness to obtain it.
Current industry experience with the ability to maintain vocational competence and currency.
Experience in training needs analysis,
workplace learning design, delivery and evaluation for adult learners.
Knowledge of training packages, RPL and assessment processes, plus experience providing career advice, mentoring, resumes, applications and interview support.
Robust communication, facilitation and digital skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse employees, managers, unions and education providers.
Robust organisational skills, sound judgement, accurate record-keeping, ability to manage priorities independently and work flexibly across RNH campuses.
