Matrix Education is now hiring secondary English Teachers to join us at our Bella Vista (coming soon!) campus/
n
This role is ideal for anyone who is a subject matter expert who can explain things clearly and is passionate about their area of expertise! Our team is a diverse group of high school Teachers, corporate professionals, university teaching staff and post graduate university students.
n
Classes are available after school from 4:30pm on weekdays or from 9:0 am on weekends at our fabulous, state of the art campuses, all within 3 minutes walk from major railway (or Metro) stations!
n
You will have the opportunity to work with a fun and talented team in a excellent work environment. Minimal lesson preparation is required as lessons and resources are provided for you.

What you'll do...
n
n




Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic term (all lesson materials and resources are prepared for you).
n
Ongoing monitoring of student's academic progress through marking of essay submissions.
n
Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.
n

What you'll need...
n
n
A genuine passion for teaching
n
Previous experience teaching secondary English in a classroom setting.
n
Extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 4, 5, and 6 English.
n
Completed their degree in Education, Arts, Philosophy, Communications or a related discipline.
n
Postgraduate studies in the above listed disciplines will be highly regarded.
