The Opportunity
Six Degrees Executive is proud to partner with Cultivating Community to appoint their nextChief Executive Officer.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a respected, values-driven organisation with a clear strategy, a capable Senior Management Team, and a scalable structure already in place.
Your key focus will be togrow, inspire, and innovate.
Key priorities include:
Driving growth and sustainabilitythrough creative partnerships and diversified revenue across government, corporate, and philanthropy.
Championing the organisation's story and purpose, strengthening its profile and influence across multiple stakeholder groups.
Inspiring and leading a diverse team, modelling a culture of empathy, respect, and safety.
Innovating boldly, identifying unconventional funding opportunities that align with community needs.
About You
This role will suit an experienced CEO or senior executive with deep NFP/philanthropy expertise and stakeholder influence.
You will bring:
Demonstrated success inbusiness development, partnerships, and income diversification.
A passion forfood systems, agriculture, or sustainability
Experience incommunity-based programming
Provensenior leadership experience, with the ability to engage boards, inspire teams, and deliver strategic outcomes.
Financial literacy, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
An empathetic, people-first style and proven ability to lead with authenticity.
A strong commitment toequity, inclusion, and community impact.
