Your new role as a CSSD Loans Officer / Sterilising Technician
Are you a diligent and motivated CSSD Technician looking for career progression?
An exciting opportunity is now available for a full-time Loan Officer at Hurstville Private Hospital.
Imagine your new role as the successful applicant where you will check loan equipment in and out of a busy CSSD, coordinate hospital requirements with supply representatives and theatre staff, ensuring all necessary loan instrumentation and prostheses are sterilised and ready for use when needed.
Your day may also involve providing your skills as a Sterilising Technician when required, ensuring compliance at all times to overall patient safety with quality reusable medical equipment through sterilisation and disinfection per HICMR standards.
Essential Criteria
Certificate 3 Sterilisation Services Certificate or Equivalent




Minimum 2 years' experience in sterilisation
Exceptional collaborative interpersonal, leadership and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care
Compliance with Australian Standards relevant to sterilisation
Experience with national standards and policy implementation within sterilisation
Experience in procurement and resource management within healthcare
Proficient computer skills and experience with reporting systems
Commitment to professional development and structured learning
Desirable Criteria
Previous Loans Coordinator experience
Understanding of financial and human resource management principles
Knowledge of HICMR policies and procedures
