Position
– Strategic Planning Officer (Town Planning) focused on heritage and planning policies.
What You'll Be Doing
Assess development applications for heritage places
Draft and review local planning policies
Evaluate Local Planning Scheme amendments
Conduct land use planning research
Coordinate responses to State planning initiatives
Provide advice to the public and developers
Represent Council in meetings and inquiries
What You'll Bring
Tertiary qualification in Urban or Town Planning
Experience in statutory or strategic planning
Strong research and analytical skills
Clear and confident communication style
Knowledge of planning legislation and processes
Ability to collaborate and influence respectfully
