About the Opportunity
As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring our facilities are clean, safe and well-presented. Working independently and as part of a supportive team, you will undertake a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties across Shire-owned buildings and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake cleaning duties in accordance with the cleaning schedule.
Sweep, mop and clean floors, buildings and surrounding areas.
Empty bins, vacuum carpets and maintain office spaces.
Clean kitchens, wash dishes following meetings and remove cobwebs.
Clean public BBQ facilities, hot plates and surrounding areas.
Maintain cleanliness of gazebos, benches and associated infrastructure.
Carry out window cleaning as required.
Report damage,
maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities.
Promote a positive image of the organisation through professional conduct and customer service.
Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements and organisational policies.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have
Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of cleaning products.
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Solid time management and organisational skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
A positive, proactive and "can-do" attitude.
A commitment to workplace health and safety.
The physical capability to undertake manual cleaning tasks.
A current C Class Driver's Licence.
Access to a reliable vehicle.
A current National Police Clearance
