Job Description
As an integral part of the Patents Team of this Premier international firm, being directly mentored by industry leading partners, you will love the STIMULATION+CHALLENGE+VARIETY providing FULL-SPECTRUM patent services (focusing mainly on mechanical engineering/material science technologies depending on your educational qualifications) including drafting/prosecuting applications, portfolio management, opposition/opinions+ liaising with IP lawyers to provide input in relation to commercial/litigation matters.
About the Candidate
* are EITHER a registered patent attorney in Australia OR a trainee patent attorney/technical assistant nearing qualification;
* have minimum 1 year practical patents experience OR MORE (up to senior associate level) with a reputable patent attorney firm/law firm/in-house in Australia/overseas;
* have a degree (or higher) in ENGINEERING (preferably mechanical, mechatronics,



automotive but open to others) OR SCIENCE (materials science/physics);
* have solid experience in drafting/prosecuting patents that relate to EITHER mechanical engineering OR materials science (or both);
