The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking
Kitchen Hand
to join our team at Tamborine Mountain Glades.
This is a hands-on role supporting our chefs and kitchen team to keep service running smoothly.




You will play an significant part in maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen across our restaurant, café, weddings, conferences and events.
Key responsibilities include:
Washing dishes, cookware and kitchen equipment
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors and work areas
Assisting with basic food preparation when required
Receiving, moving and storing kitchen supplies
Supporting chefs and the wider kitchen team during busy service periods
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
Assisting with functions, weddings, conferences and special events
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and ready to work
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
Physically capable of being on their feet and completing manual tasks throughout a shift
Organised and able to work efficiently
Positive, respectful and willing to help the team
Able to follow instructions and maintain high cleanliness standards
Flexible to work across weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant or hospitality environment is an advantage, but
attitude and reliability are most important
