Job Description
Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Practitioner
Contract Term:12 months
Engagement:Outcomes-based contract
About the Role
We are seeking an experiencedIntegrated Logistics Support (ILS) Practitionerto support the introduction into service and ongoing sustainment of complex products and equipment.
The successful candidate will work within established logistics policies, frameworks and systems to manage and deliver key ILS activities throughout the acquisition, introduction-to-service and sustainment lifecycle.
You will work as part of a small project team, undertaking moderately complex ILS activities with a high degree of initiative, judgement and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver Integrated Logistics Support activities across the product lifecycle.
Undertakecodification and cataloguing of Items of Supply (IOS)within authorised Logistics Inventory Management Systems (LIMS).
Manage logistics data and perform inventory transactions associated with the introduction, issue and sustainment of products and parts.
Identify and documentsupplier, repair and support pipelinesand assist commercial teams with establishing appropriate through-life support arrangements.
Develop, review and maintain technical and logistics documentation supporting introduction into service and sustainment, including:
Repair parts schedules
Entitlement and provisioning documentation
Undertake transactions and functions within authorised logistics systems to support product introduction, inventory management and equipment issue.
Develop and maintain entitlement and provisioning documentation in accordance with approved requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams, logistics stakeholders, commercial teams, technical specialists, end users and industry partners.
Act as a key point of contact for ILS management activities and deliverables.
Participate in stakeholder and project meetings and actively manage ILS actions, risks and dependencies.
Prepare, contribute to and reviewILS reports, documentation and supporting artefacts.
Participate inacceptance testing and verification activitiesrelating to ILS requirements and deliverables.
Requirements
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Proven experience as anIntegrated Logistics Support Practitioner, ILS Manager, Logistics Specialist or similar.
Strong understanding of establishedILS principles, methodologies and lifecycle support practices.
Practical experience withlogistics inventory management systems (LIMS).
Experience withNATO codification, cataloguing and Items of Supply (IOS).
Experience supporting equipment or productintroduction into service and sustainment.
Experience developing and maintaining technical, logistics, provisioning and support documentation.
Understanding ofsupply chains, repair pipelines and through-life support arrangements.
Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project and commercial teams.
Robust written communication, documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and manage multiple ILS deliverables.
Experience working withinlarge, complex, regulated or government environments, particularly where formal logistics, asset management, supply chain and lifecycle support frameworks are used, will be highly regarded.
