About our client

AWX is partnering with an established, solutions-driven civil construction company delivering specialist construction, engineering and geotechnical services . Our client provides comprehensive project support from concept and design through to construction . Their experienced team is committed to delivering safe, high-quality, cost-effective projects on time. The project is located near Forsayth in the Etheridge Shire , approximately 400 kilometres southwest of Cairns in Queensland's Gulf Savannah region.

Available Roles
n
We are seeking experienced operators for the following equipment:
n
n
30-tonne Excavator
n
3-tonne Skid Steer
n
12-tonne Loader
n
All-Round Civil Plant Operator
n
n
Roster
n
n
Three-week project with the 13th day off, 12-hour shifts
n
Immediate start on a short-term dam project
n
DIDO from Cairns to the Forsayth region
n
Paid travel time and fuel allowance
n
Camp accommodation and meals provided
n
n
What you'll do
n
n
Operate excavators, loaders, skid steers and other civil plant
n
Complete bulk earthworks, site preparation and laydown works
n
Assist with civil drainage and general dam construction activities
n
Conduct daily pre-start inspections and equipment checks
n
Follow all site safety procedures and operational requirements
n




Work effectively as part of a safety-focused project team
n

What you'll need
n
n
Construction White Card
n
Relevant RII competencies and plant tickets
n
Demonstrated civil construction or bulk earthworks experience
n
A minimum of two years' consistent excavator experience for Excavator Operator positions
n
Current C Class Driver's Licence and reliable transport
n
Ability to work 12-hour shifts for the project duration
n
Physically fit and prepared for outdoor, hands-on work
n
Solid commitment to safety and teamwork
n
