About the Role...
We are seeking a Powder Coating Operator to join our team at our Lonsdale site.
Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include.
Set up and operate powder coating spray equipment.
Ensure powder coating equipment is maintained and cleaned to the required standard.
Prepare materials to be powder-coated, ensuring proper cleanliness and preparation has been performed before powder-coating application.
Perform inspections, both visual and using a dry film thickness tester, to ensure correct coating quality and standards are achieved.

To be successful, you will; Have relevant experience in a customer service-focused team and working to schedules/lead times to meet customer demand Have effective verbal communication skills Have high attention to detail and accuracy Be an enthusiastic team player and have the "Can Do" attitude Have a strong focus on quality and safe work practices Have proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Ideally, you will have had previous experience in a Powdercoating role; however, a solid work ethic and willingness to learn are a must, together with the ability to work within a small, dynamic and multi-skilled team.
You must be reliable and self-motivated with the drive to take on additional tasks in a fast-paced environment to achieve excellent quality standards and customer service levels aligned with Alspec's Mission to be " WORLD CLASS IN ALUMINIUM DESIGN, DISTRIBUTION AND SERVICE".
