Position Purpose As the Administration Officer – Operations, you will play an important role in supporting the Shire's Operations team to keep things running smoothly across our Kununurra and Wyndham depots, cemeteries and landfill sites.
You will provide essential administration and stores support, helping our operational teams stay organised, well-equipped and focused on delivering quality services to the community.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same,



with the opportunity to work across a range of operational areas and build strong relationships with people throughout the Shire.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications required for the role Demonstrated experience in a similar role; Demonstrated skills in the development and monitoring of safety practices including hazard and risk management, incident investigation and audits; Ability to work under limited direction to improve and enhance processes and practices; Achieve high quality results by taking a shared responsibility for setting priorities, organising workloads and meeting prescribed or self-imposed deadlines in a team environment; High level written and verbal communication skills that result in effective and appropriate communication with a broad range of people internal and external to the Shire; and Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Office products, including advanced word processing skills with excellent attention to detail.
