Build strong relationships with supporters, clubs and sporting partners Full-time, newly created role Camberwell location (hybrid) As Fundraising Development Manager (Sport), you will lead the strategy, development and growth of Breast Cancer Network Australia's sport, running and trekking fundraising portfolio.
Reporting to the Head of Income and Innovation, you will drive the evolution of established initiatives such as Play4BCNA, while identifying, developing and delivering new opportunities that grow income, awareness and supporter engagement.
This is a rare chance to build and scale a portfolio with significant growth potential.
You'll bring the vision, energy and commercial mindset to take the program to the next level, driving supporter acquisition, retention and long-term value, while strengthening Breast Cancer Network Australia's presence across the sporting landscape.
Working closely with the Brand, Engagement and Income teams, you will leverage data, insights and innovation to optimise performance, enhance supporter experiences and test new approaches that deliver sustainable growth.
You'll also build and nurture strategic relationships across national, state, regional and local sporting organisations, clubs and communities, helping to position Breast Cancer Network Australia as a partner of choice across the sport sector.
About You You're an ambitious fundraiser, partnership or business development professional who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to delivery.
You thrive on creating new opportunities, building meaningful relationships and turning ideas into sustainable fundraising outcomes.
You are equally comfortable developing relationships with national sporting bodies, state associations, community clubs and grassroots networks, and can confidently navigate complex stakeholder environments to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
You'll Bring Experience developing,
delivering and growing fundraising, partnership or community engagement programs.
Proven success securing and growing partnerships across the sporting landscape, from national and state governing bodies, through to regional associations, local clubs and grassroots communities.
Strong commercial acumen and a growth mindset, with the ability to identify, develop and convert new opportunities into sustainable income.
Experience driving acquisition, engagement and retention strategies that grow participation and supporter value.
A strategic, innovative mindset with the ability to identify emerging opportunities and translate them into high-impact fundraising initiatives.
Strong analytical capability, using data and insights to inform decisions, optimise performance and maximise outcomes.
Exceptional communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
A builder's mindset, bringing the vision, energy and influence to transform and scale a growing program.
Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
