About the role and where you will be working:
We're looking for Aged Care Support Workers across Broome.
We are looking for candidates with a bubbly and approachable attitude to support our variety of clientele.
You'll need to be comfortable spending a fair amount of your day out on the road, driving in between clients' homes.
We're proud to offer tailored services and make the time we spend with clients as valuable as possible.
If you join us, you'll be helping us enable them to live at home safely & comfortably for as long as possible!
We'll also be asking you to:
Personal Care - Showering, bathing, grooming and dressing
Mobility & Safe Transfers - Access to the community including attending appointments, shopping and social outings
Provide companionship & emotional support
Assist with medication prompts
Domestic duties where required
Carefully follow client care plans, and log activities via smartphone.
About you:
You're comfortable working on your own, and more importantly, care about our clients as much as we do.
Building relationships with people comes naturally, and you know that good Support Workers can make such a difference in the quality of someone's life.
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
Initiative and the ability to effectively prioritise & multi task.
Great interpersonal & communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn & use new software for record keeping.
First Aid Certificate.
Advantageous to have studied Certs in Aged Care or Individual Support or Community Services or equivalent
Advantageous to have Manual Handling and/or Medication Administration certificates
Advantageous to have NDIS Worker Screen Check
Valid Drivers Licence & Reliable Roadworthy Vehicle
