Job Description: Sales Representative / Brand Ambassador

We're looking for an energetic, commercially minded Sales Representative / Brand Ambassador to help grow Slipstream Brewing and share our story with more beer drinkers, venues and retailers.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer relationships, new business development, beer tastings, festivals, activations and practical support for our wholesale operations.
You'll be one of the friendly faces of Slipstream Brewing.
One day you might be visiting customers and introducing them to our latest releases; the next, hosting a tasting, representing us at a beer festival or helping prepare an order at our Yeerongpilly brewery.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to wait for leads to arrive or spend every day behind a desk.
We're looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, takes initiative and can turn genuine conversations about great beer into lasting customer relationships and sales.

What you'll be responsible for
You'll work closely with the Sales Manager to support existing wholesale customers, identify new opportunities and strengthen Slipstream's presence in the market.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and developing relationships with existing retail and on-premise customers
Conducting regular sales calls, customer visits and follow-ups
Identifying and pursuing new wholesale business opportunities
Presenting Slipstream's core range, seasonal beers and limited releases to prospective customers
Working towards agreed sales, distribution and customer activity targets
Representing Slipstream at festivals, trade events, community activations and tap takeovers
Transporting beer and event equipment and assisting with site setup and pack-down




Hosting in-store tastings and engaging consumers with our beers and brewing story
Supporting new product launches, promotions and other wholesale marketing activity
Checking product presentation, availability, stock rotation and merchandising within customer accounts
Making deliveries to customers when required
Keeping customer details, sales activity and follow-up notes accurate and up to date
Sharing customer and market feedback with the sales, marketing and brewing teams
Assisting with general sales administration and brewery operations when required

You'll be comfortable combining the energy of brand representation with the organisation, persistence and accountability required to grow sales.
What you'll bring
You're likely to be a strong fit if you:
Are confident, engaging and genuinely enjoy meeting current people
Have experience in sales, account management, hospitality, retail or the beverage industry
Can build strong customer relationships while remaining commercially focused
Are comfortable approaching prospective customers and asking for the sale
Take initiative, follow through on commitments and manage your own workload
Communicate clearly and professionally in person, over the phone and by email
Are organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities
Have a genuine interest in craft beer and enthusiasm for developing strong product knowledge
Are comfortable being measured against sales activity and results
Enjoy working collaboratively and can take feedback on board
Are willing to take on practical tasks as well as customer-facing work
Are confident using basic computer applications and customer management systems
Experience selling beer, beverages, hospitality products or FMCG will be highly regarded, but strong sales ability, initiative and the right attitude are just as important.
You'll also need:
A current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
Flexibility to attend occasional evening and weekend events
The physical ability to safely lift and move cartons, kegs and event equipment




Confidence driving for customer visits and deliveries.
Previous experience towing a trailer would be an advantage.
