About the role This is a permanent full time position based in Wagga Wagga, with part-time arrangements considered for the successful applicant.
The Mental Health Clinician (C F) is a key member of the My Step to Mental Wellbeing team, providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health assessment, intervention, and recovery support to children, young people, and adults across the Eastern Murrumbidgee region.

Conduct evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions.
Promote emotional wellbeing, resilience, recovery and community participation.
Collaborate with consumers, carers, families and service providers to coordinate care.
Skills Experience
1. Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist (accredited with OTA as meeting the Australian Competency Standards for Occupational Therapists in Mental Health), or accreditation with the AASW as a Mental Health Social Worker.
OR current clinical registration as a PACFA Mental Health Practitioner and demonstrated achievement of PACFA's Mental Health Competencies.
OR current Level 3 or 4 membership with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
2. Demonstrated experience working with individuals experiencing mental health concerns across the lifespan
3. Demonstrated experience delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to consumers presenting with a range of mental health concerns, using person-centred, recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approaches
