Location: Forrestfield, WA Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time Join WA's Leading Family-Owned Refrigerated Logistics Business Sands Fridge Lines is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HSEC Administrator – Transport to join our Safety, Compliance and Operations team.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in transport administration, driver compliance, heavy vehicle operations, or safety administration who is looking to further develop their career in the transport and logistics industry.
Working closely with our HSEC Manager, Operations Team, and Drivers, you will play a key role in maintaining transport compliance systems, supporting safety initiatives, monitoring Heavy Vehicle Accreditation requirements, and assisting with driver compliance programs across our metropolitan and regional operations.




About the Role The HSEC Administrator - Transport is responsible for supporting the effective administration of transport safety and compliance systems across the business.
A key focus of the role will be: WA Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (WAHVA) Heavy Vehicle National Law compliance Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Driver Fatigue Management Electronic Work Diaries (EWD) Driver records and licence management Safety administration and reporting You will help ensure the business remains compliant with legislative, accreditation, and customer requirements while maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Transport Compliance Maintain transport compliance records and databases.
Monitor driver licence, medical, and competency records.
Support compliance with WAHVA requirements and modules.
Assist with internal and external compliance audits.
Coordinate corrective actions arising from audits and compliance reviews.
Monitor driver fatigue management requirements.
Maintain heavy vehicle compliance documentation and evidence.
Electronic Work Diary Administration Monitor and review Electronic Work Diary (EWD) submissions.
Identify fatigue or work diary breaches and escalate appropriately.
Support drivers with EWD troubleshooting and system usage.
Generate compliance reports for management.




Assist in investigations relating to fatigue management and work diary compliance.
Safety Compliance Support Assist in maintaining WHS, CoR and quality compliance systems.
Support incident reporting and investigations.
Maintain compliance registers and document control systems.
Support policy, procedure and training material reviews.
Reporting Administration Prepare compliance reports and KPI dashboards.
Maintain accurate documentation and records.
Liaise with operations teams, drivers, regulators and external stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across safety and compliance programs.
About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: Essential Experience in transport, logistics, warehousing, safety, or compliance administration.
Strong understanding of WA Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (WAHVA) requirements.
Exposure to Heavy Vehicle National Law and Chain of Responsibility obligations.
Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail and record management capabilities.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Highly Desirable Experience using Electronic Work Diary (EWD) platforms.
Experience conducting compliance audits.
Certificate IV in Work Health Safety or similar qualification.
Experience within refrigerated transport, distribution or logistics operations.
Understanding of fatigue management systems.
Experience with quality management systems and document control.
