The Opportunity: Casual Appointment.
Teaching $************* p/h + 12% super (dependent on qualifications and experience).
Waverley Campus – onsite parking and close proximity to public transport.
The Workplace and Horticultural Trades department offers a supportive, industry-connected learning environment at Holmesglen's Glen Waverley campus.
Programs span Horticulture, Landscaping, Parks and Gardens, Sports Turf Management, Floristry and Conservation, with practical delivery across purpose-built facilities and field-based settings.
Join our Horticulture teaching team and help students build practical skills and confidence for their future careers.
You'll deliver engaging, hands-on training, develop quality learning and assessment resources, support diverse learners and maintain strong connections with industry.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced horticulture professional who is passionate about sharing their expertise and contributing to high-quality vocational education.
To be successful, you'll have: An approved degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed; and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE ***** or TAE***** or TAE*****) or its successor; or An approved diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education or vocational education and training; or A secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials: - TAESS***** Assessor Skill Set, or - TAESS***** Assessor Skill Set or its successor, or - TAESS***** VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor.
Current licences necessary to practice, or registration and/or membership of a relevant industry association where applicable.
WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian 'employee' Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
