This is an excellent chance for skilled Diesel Fitters with strong Cummins engine experience looking for ongoing work, a consistent Dayshift only 7/7 roster and a DIDO arrangement with mine spec vehicle supplied.
What's on Offer: $75/hr casual rate + mine spec vehicle 7/7 roster - DAYSHIFT only; 12hr shifts Ongoing work DIDO opportunity Work focused on engine change-outs/swap-outs Join an established mining operation About the Role: As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out engine change-outs and mechanical maintenance on heavy mining equipment.
Key responsibilities include:



Completing engine swap-outs and change-outs Removing and installing engines and associated components Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs Conducting preventative and breakdown maintenance Working safely and efficiently in a mining environment Completing maintenance documentation and reporting as required About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Trade Certificate – Diesel Fitting / Heavy Vehicle / Mechanical Proven Cummins engine experience – essential Previous experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment Mining experience highly regarded Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to work safely and independently Current Driver Licence Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical Ability to work a 7/7 roster If you're an experienced Diesel Fitter with Cummins experience and looking for ongoing work on a 7/7 roster, we'd love to hear from you.
