We are seeking an experienced Grade 2 Occupational Therapist who works well in a multidisciplinary team and partners with families to achieve meaningful outcomes for children.
Experienced Grade 1 clinicians will also be considered for this role.
As part of the Child Health Team, you will provide clinic-based occupational therapy services for children aged 15 months up to 8 years of age.
Working within an evidence-based, family- and client-centred framework, you will partner with families and a multidisciplinary team to support meaningful outcomes for children across Melbourne's northern suburbs.
The role may involve working across multiple DPV Health sites to support families where services are most needed.
As a Grade 2 clinician, you will bring excellent communication skills, sound clinical reasoning, confidence in paediatric assessment and intervention, and a willingness to contribute to team learning and service improvement.
You must hold: Bachelor or Masters of Occupational Therapy, or equivalent qualification Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Experience in paediatric Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention Bring your great, every day!
You will bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, sound clinical reasoning, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to providing culturally safe, inclusive and family-centred care.
You will be comfortable managing a varied paediatric caseload, working with children and families from diverse backgrounds, and contributing positively to team learning and service improvement.
