Location: Whitsundays (Proserpine, Airlie Beach, Cannonvale) Roster: Monday to Friday 10 hour days, occasional Saturday work We are currently seeking experienced Civil Operators to join various upcoming projects/companies across the Whitsundays!
About our Client: Our client is a well-established local construction company delivering a range of civil and building projects across the region.
With a solid focus on quality, safety and reliable project delivery, they are seeking experienced operators and labourers to join their team on upcoming civil construction works.
What you will be doing: Grader Operator Operating grader for road construction and upgrades GPS machine control and GPS-guided grading Final trim and fine grading Trimming road formation, shoulders and verges Preparing subgrade and pavement layers Grading gravel and road base to level and fall Maintaining correct levels, grades and crossfalls Working around kerbs, drainage and existing services Bulk earthworks and material spreading Finishing and shaping access roads and work areas Excavator Operator Operating excavators across civil construction projects Excavation and trenching for pipe relocation and drainage Installing and backfilling around pipes and services Digging pits, trenches and foundations Loading trucks and moving spoil/materials Bulk earthworks and site preparation Working around existing underground services Batter and slope trimming Assisting with drainage, stormwater and culvert installation GPS machine control where required General civil excavation and clean-up Roller Operator Operating padfoot and smooth drum rollers Compacting road base, subgrade and fill material Achieving required compaction levels Compacting around drainage and civil infrastructure Rolling road formations and pavement layers Operating around graders,



water carts and other earthmoving equipment Identifying and correcting uneven or poorly compacted areas Working to project specifications and levels General site and earthworks support What you will need: Demonstrated experience operating grader, roller and/or excavator Previous experience on civil construction and road upgrade projects GPS machine control Final trim experience Experience operating padfoot and smooth drum rollers Ability to read plans, levels and grades Strong understanding of civil construction processes Construction Card (White/Blue Card) Right to Work in Australia Current Driver's Licence Ability to pass regular Drug and Alcohol Testing Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical (PEM) What's in it for you?
