About the Role
IRT Catering, a division of the IRT Group is in the process of developing our business of the future.
Our Unanderra facility produces over 40,000 home-style and nutritious meals each week.
We have a team of dedicated professionals who ensure we deliver the highest quality products for our customers.
We are seeking to appoint a Truck Driver to work on a Casual basis.
Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, this role plays a key part in ensuring all goods that are dispatched are received on time whilst maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment at all times




Accurate receipt and storage of goods as well as picking up and delivering of supplies and products to clients as requested
Ensure appropriate documentation, including temperature check charts are completed and returned at the end of each shift
Checking the vehicle condition and safety prior to loading
Adhering to road rules and other legislative requirements
Ensuring correct quantities are delivered by checking bags and trays against delivery dockets
Delivering a high level of customer service
To Be Successful You Will Have
Demonstrated experiences as a truck driver
Hold a current Medium Rigid (MR) licence with the ability to drive manual
Extensive previous experience driving heavy vehicles delivering goods
Demonstrated experience with driving refrigerated loads
Have strong customer service skills, as well as good written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy
