We're looking for a commercially minded Account Manager or Senior Account Manager who has the potential to grow into a
National Business Manager-level role
.
You don't need to have already held a National Account Manager title.

Why this role?
This is more than an Account Management position.
You'll work across a portfolio of leading FMCG brands and the independent grocery channel, gaining exposure to the full commercial lifecycle — from customer strategy and business planning through to promotions, new product launches and execution in market.
You'll work alongside an experienced team who will support and develop you, giving you the opportunity to build the skills required to progress your career into senior national account management.
What you'll be doing
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
Manage and grow a portfolio of FMCG accounts
Develop customer plans and identify opportunities for sales and distribution growth
Support commercial negotiations, promotional planning and range reviews




Prepare customer presentations and business reviews
Analyse sales, market and promotional data to identify opportunities
Work with suppliers and internal teams to deliver commercial objectives
Partner with field sales and merchandising teams to ensure plans are executed in store
Support new product launches, activations and promotional campaigns
Monitor account performance, forecasts and KPIs
Develop your commercial capability with mentoring and exposure to senior customer relationships
What we're looking for...
We're open to different backgrounds, but you'll ideally have:
E
xperience as an
Account Manager, Senior Account Manager or Key Account Manager
Experience in
FMCG, food, beverage, grocery, retail or consumer products
A strong track record of building customer relationships
Commercial thinking and an interest in growing accounts
Confidence communicating and presenting to customers
Experience with
independent grocery, Metcash, IGA, MSOs or field sales teams
