HR Recruitment HR - Management Melbourne Contract or Temp Our Client Our client is a national skilled services organisation and they currently have an exciting opening for a seasoned HR Manager to join the team on a temporary basis starting ASAP!
Description In this broad generalist role, you will coach and advise managers throughout the employee lifecycle, helping them confidently navigate employee relations, performance management, organisational change and everyday people matters.
You will join a collaborative HR team committed to creating a positive employee experience and strengthening leadership capability.
Key responsibilities Provide timely HR advice and support to managers, escalating complex matters when specialist or senior input is required.
Coach leaders through performance management and general employee relations matters.
Support workplace investigations by gathering information, preparing documentation and tracking follow-up actions.
Draft and maintain accurate HR correspondence, meeting notes, case files and system records.
Assist with organisational change initiatives, employee communications and manager briefings.
Coordinate leave, wellbeing and return-to-work processes in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
Support the delivery of regional HR programs and broader people initiatives.




Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve the manager and employee experience.
About you Previous experience in an HR generalist, HR advisory or HR business partnering position.
Practical experience supporting managers with employee relations matters of routine to moderate complexity.
Sound knowledge of performance management and broader employee lifecycle processes.
Confidence coaching and advising leaders across different levels of an organisation.
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail when preparing sensitive HR documentation.
A collaborative, consultative approach with the judgment to recognise when matters require escalation.
A proactive mindset and genuine interest in improving HR services, systems and processes.
Experience working within a corporate or similarly complex environment will be highly regarded.
