Full Job Description Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand for a long-term commercial project in Spring Hill, Brisbane, QLD. The project involves extensive internal refurbishment and electrical fit-out works in a hotel. This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician looking to step into a leadership role on a sizeable project.

About the Role
n
n
Leading a team of electricians and apprentices
n
Coordinating daily electrical activities on site
n
Commercial electrical fit-out and installation
n
Rough-in, fit-off and final electrical works
n
Lighting, power and general electrical services
n
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and plans
n
Coordinating materials and labour requirements
n
Conducting pre-starts and maintaining site safety standards
n
Working closely with the builder, supervisors and other trades
n




Monitoring progress and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Current QLD Electrical Licence
n
Proven experience as an Electrical Leading Hand or experienced electrician ready to step up
n
Robust commercial construction or fit-out experience
n
Ability to lead a small team and coordinate site activities
n
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
n
Strong communication and organisational skills
n
White Card
n
Current CPR & LVR
n
Driver's Licence
n
n
