We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to join a high-performing technology team delivering critical enterprise applications and platforms.
This role will play a key part in driving quality outcomes through robust test automation, API testing, and continuous integration practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
Perform API, integration, system and end-to-end testing.
Develop automation solutions using C# and Selenium.
Build and maintain automated testing within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data and support testing activities.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.
Identify testing risks, gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
Drive best practice automation and quality engineering standards across the delivery team.
Support release activities and ensure testing is embedded throughout the SDLC.
About You
You will bring strong experience as a Senior Automation Test Engineer working across complex environments, with the ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities and take ownership of automation delivery.
You are a self-starter who enjoys solving technical challenges and can confidently work with minimal supervision.
Essential Experience




Strong automation testing experience in enterprise environments.
Previous software development experience, ideally using C#.
Hands-on experience with Selenium test automation.
Strong API testing experience.
Experience working with Azure DevOps.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Advanced SQL skills for data validation and testing.
Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Highly Regarded
Experience within Financial Services or other highly regulated environments.
Experience as the sole or lead Automation Tester within a delivery team.
Exposure to cloud based platforms and modern engineering practices.
ISTQB Certification.
