Senior Business Development Manager – Corporate Development - Melbourne
A global, acquisitive software investor is hiring a Senior BD Manager to backfill their outgoing lead as they step up into a bigger remit.
This is a build role, not a maintenance one.
You'll own sourcing and relationship-building across a portfolio of B2B software targets ($2-30M revenue) throughout ANZ, working directly with founders and owners to build trust over a long sales cycle.
No cold start either, you're handed a warm book of 700+ leads on day one.
$260k OTE, fully uncapped, at 2 closes a year
Full commission paid in Q1 regardless of output while you ramp
Equity on the table after 12 months for solid performers
Real progression, this role exists because the incumbent is moving up




Long-cycle relationship background over tech pedigree, banking, PE/VC origination, or consolidator BD all transferable
Comfortable earning trust with founders and C-level stakeholders across a wide range of industries
Discipline and consistency over quick wins, this is a 3-5 year build
Melbourne based, hybrid (2 days in office).
