About Youth Enhanced Service (YES)
RAV's
Youth Enhanced Service (YES)
supports young people aged 12 to 25 who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges.
These young people are often described as the "missing middle" and may have experienced difficulties accessing appropriate support, frequently moving between services without their needs being fully met.Using a multidisciplinary and collaborative model of care, experienced Mental Health Clinicians provide individualised support for up to 12 months, helping young people improve their mental health, wellbeing, and overall functioning.
About the role
Reporting to the
Manager, Youth Mental Health Services
,
you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team delivering therapeutic mental health services to young people aged 12 to 25.
Working collaboratively with clients and other service providers, you will conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and risk assessments, develop person-centred care plans, and deliver evidence-informed interventions that support young people to achieve their goals and enhance their mental health and wellbeing.
Clinicians have access to
regular clinical supervision, ongoing career development opportunities
, and
support
from experienced mental health practitioners.
This position is located at our
Traralgon
centre and is fixed term until June ****, with the possibility of permanent employment if funding contracts are renewed.
This opportunity is
part-time
, working four (4) days per week, with the expectation that one day per week will be an evening shift (Tuesdays).
The
base salary range is $101,948 - $109,287
(pro-rata) per annum.
Eligible social workers
will have the opportunity to accrue supervised mental health practice hours that may contribute towards meeting the
Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Mental Health Accreditation requirements
.
About you
Degree qualified in allied health (social work, mental health nursing, occupational therapy or psychology).
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or current full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Current Drivers License and access to a car.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, prioritising and managing work tasks and deadlines.
Understanding of the challenges and experiences of young people from diverse backgrounds (rural and remote settings, culturally and linguistically diverse, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and LGBTQI).
