Cardinia Shire Council is looking for a creative, strategic and enthusiastic Digital Communications Advisor to help grow our digital presence and engage our community across social media and online channels.
We're seeking a skilled communications professional who can develop and deliver communication and content plans, create engaging digital content, manage social media campaigns,



and provide trusted advice to stakeholders on the best ways to reach and connect with our community.
You will make an impact by
Manage and grow Council's Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn channels
Develop communication, content and campaign plans that support organisational priorities
Create engaging social media, web,video and multimedia content
Coordinate social media advertising campaigns
Monitor online conversations and community sentiment
Analyse digital performance and use insights to improve results
Capture photo and video content at community events and media opportunities
Support website content management and digital communications projects
Provide digital communications advice and support to internal stakeholders
Assist with crisis and emergency communications when required
What you will bring
An experienced communications professional with a strong social media background
A confident content creator with excellent writing skills
Skilled in developing communication plans and digital campaigns
Experienced in social media advertising,analytics and reporting
Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders and competing priorities
