This role provides comprehensive case management, including intake, risk assessment, safety planning, advocacy, referrals and coordinated support to promote safety, recovery and independence.
You will also coordinate Versatile Support Packages (FSP) and Personal Safety Initiative (PSI) supports, providing tailored financial, practical and safety responses based on individual needs and risk.
The role involves building strong relationships with victim survivors, practitioners, providers and sector stakeholders, while contributing to an integrated family violence team.
You will maintain accurate client records, reporting and data, provide guidance and training to providers and practitioners, and contribute to quality improvement and statewide initiatives.
You will have a strong understanding of family violence and experience in case management, risk assessment and safety planning.
You will bring a trauma-informed,
intersectional and client-centered approach, strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and a commitment to supporting victim survivors to achieve long-term safety, stability and independence.
What We're Looking For:
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline (or currently studying)
A strong understanding of family violence and its impact on victim survivors, particularly children
Commitment to working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Current Victorian Working with Children Check and National Police Check
