Electrical Supervisor
to join the Terra Mining team.

About The Position
Reporting to the Project Director, you will play a critical role in the maintenance department by ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
You will support day-to-day electrical maintenance and statutory compliance across busy mining operations and camp facilities.
This role is critical in ensuring the safe operation of infrastructure, minimising downtime, and supporting a solid site safety culture.
Your day-to-day activities will include but are not limited to:
Perform electrical work, isolations, and testing in line with site procedures and WA Mines Regulations
Conduct maintenance, inspections, and fault-finding on conveyor equipment, including fixed plant, Generators and mobile equipment.
Conduct maintenance, inspections within the camp facilities.
Conduct maintenance, inspections, and fault-finding on bore pumps and plant water supply pumps.
Assist with planning and execution of shutdowns, and statutory compliance tasks
Maintain accurate records, permits,
and electrical documentation
Support safe production by working closely with Maintenance, Operations and HSET
Participate in site safety initiatives, risk assessments and toolbox meetings
What You Will Bring
Experience as an Electrician on mining or heavy industry projects
Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor is essential
Certification as Electrical in-house nominee is essential
Current WA Electrical Licence – unrestricted
A Statutory Supervisor Certification (min Schedule 26) or working towards
Cert 2 Split System Licence – Or the ability to obtain
Current First Aid, LV Rescue and CPR
Certificate IV in Instrumentation is desirable
Strong understanding of AS:**** Electrical Wiring Rules
Strong understanding of AS:**** Electrical installations – Generating Sets
Strong understanding of WHS (Mines) Regulations ****
Proven ability to work within a team or independently, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and productivity.
You must have full Australian working rights, be able to complete and pass a medical assessment (including drug & alcohol screen) and be able to provide a current National Police Clearance (within last 12 months).
