What You Will Be Doing
Welcoming customers and giving friendly, helpful service
Operating the register and processing sales, refunds and exchanges on our POS system
Receiving stock, replenishing shelves and keeping product presentation neat
Setting up promotions and ticketing as directed
Keeping the store clean, tidy and well presented
Following work health and safety procedures and reporting hazards
What We Are Looking For
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn — no retail experience required
Reliability: turning up on time for every rostered shift
Confidence talking to customers and working as part of a team
Broad availability across the week, including weekends
Ability to be on your feet for a full shift and to lift and move stock safely
Hours and Availability
Varying shifts, including some weekends and public holidays
Shift times vary according to the store's trading requirements




Availability across a range of days and times is essential
Pay and Benefits
Award rates apply under the General Retail Industry Award.
Penalty rates for weekends and public holidays, plus casual loading where applicable

Where It Can Lead
This is the role our store leaders come from.
As you build experience you can be trained in cash handling, stock control and opening and closing procedures, and step towards Shift Supervisor and beyond.
Pre-employment checks will be tailored to the specific requirements of each role and may include, but are not limited to, medical assessments, drug and alcohol screening, and police background checks.
The nature and extent of these checks will be determined based on the responsibilities and demands of the position and discuss in the next recruitment steps.
