A highly regarded national law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate with 5+ years PAE to join its Dispute Resolution Litigation team in Brisbane.
The firm has a strong national presence and is continuing to experience growth across its commercial practice.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Partners on sophisticated commercial litigation and dispute matters, including large-scale and third-party funded litigation.
With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, this is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer looking to continue developing their career within a collaborative and high-performing team.
The team works closely with Australian and international litigation funders and is regularly briefed on significant third-party funded litigation.
THE WORK This role will provide exposure to a diverse range of commercial litigation and dispute matters, with the opportunity to work on complex and high-value matters from initial stages through to resolution.
Your responsibilities will include: Working collaboratively on large-scale funded litigation and dispute matters Drafting correspondence, opinions, advice and legal documentation for court and tribunal proceedings Preparing and managing files Preparing court documents and affidavits Attending court appearances and mediations Mentoring more junior lawyers THE IDEAL LAWYER To excel in this role, you should have:
