An established automotive group is seeking an experienced Group Business Manager to lead Finance Insurance performance across multiple Brisbane locations.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for an experienced automotive finance professional who knows how to lift performance through robust people leadership, disciplined processes and consistent compliance.
You will take ownership of the broader F I function, working closely with leadership, Business Managers and external finance and insurance partners to achieve penetration, profitability and customer service objectives.
Key Responsibilities Lead Finance Insurance operations across multiple dealership locations Manage, coach and develop a team of Business Managers Drive finance penetration, product sales and profitability outcomes Monitor monthly and quarterly results against budget and agreed KPIs Identify performance trends and implement corrective actions where required Establish consistent F I processes, procedures and performance standards Recruit, train and develop finance team members Improve customer experience and sales processes across the finance function Oversee finance and insurance product programs Maintain productive relationships with financiers and insurance providers Partner with sales and marketing teams on relevant sales initiatives Ensure strong compliance with internal policies, financier requirements,



insurer requirements and industry regulations What You'll Need You will bring at least two years of proven experience in a Group Business Manager position or a closely comparable automotive finance leadership role.
Automotive retail experience is strongly preferred, although candidates from a closely aligned industry may be considered where their background includes comparable F I, sales leadership, people management and regulatory compliance responsibilities.
You will also need to demonstrate: Strong understanding of dealership F I performance and penetration Experience leading and developing Business Managers Commercial awareness and confidence working with budgets and KPIs Strong coaching, recruitment and performance management capability A disciplined approach to compliance and process Ability to analyse results and translate them into practical actions Strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external finance partners This role would suit an established automotive finance leader looking to take broader responsibility across multiple dealership operations while remaining close to the people, customers and commercial drivers of the business.
