Education and Training Clinical NSW Part Time, Permanent 27/8/2026 $243,****** pa pro rata + super + salary packaging Part time, 0.42 FTE (16 hours per week), Permanent opportunity Wagga Wagga Office Location (Murrumbidgee Subregion) About the role As Senior Medical Educator/Head of Training, you'll lead and manage a small team of Medical Educators and will oversee and be involved in the development, delivery, quality and consistency of GP training across the Murrumbidgee subregion.
Reporting to the Regional Director of Training, you'll shape local education strategy, maintain accreditation and performance standards, and partner with registrars, supervisors, practices, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educators, operations teams and key external stakeholders.
As a Senior Medical Educator/Head of Training, you will: Lead, manage and develop Medical Educators Oversee education quality, training decisions and accreditation Drive consistency with national training standards and strategy Mentor teams and foster a high‐performance, inclusive culture Skills Experience Fellowship of RACGP (or equivalent) with extensive senior medical education experience Proven leadership capability managing, mentoring and developing high‐performing educators Strong stakeholder management across clinical, education and government partners Strategic mindset with high organisational skills and commitment to quality and continuous improvement Skilled in registrar, supervisor and training site case management and support.
