About The Role We are seeking for an experienced and dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join our brand new, state-of-the-art Endoscopy/Day Surgery department at the Mater Hospital in North Sydney.
Responsibilities include endoscope processing, decontamination, sterilisation, maintenance, and storage.
Flexibility to work on the weekends, when required You will bring your passion to the role where you will work with competent technicians, nurses, and Doctors to support our unit when required.
About You Certificate in GENCA Fundamentals of Endoscope Reprocessing (highly desirable).
Knowledge of adaptable endoscopes, reprocessors and accessories.
Have thorough knowledge of GENCA, GESA, HICMR, and Infection control policies and procedures in Endoscopy.
Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to multitask, flexible with allocations, and adopts to change easily.
