About the role Ansvar Australia , who are proudly part of the Benefact Group , are looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our Melbourne office .
The Senior Actuarial Analyst contributes to the delivery of high-quality technical pricing models, and analytics of the product, portfolio and policy level performance across all classes of business.

What you'll be doing Lead pricing reviews to optimise portfolio performance and profitability.
Deliver pricing insights and analytics to support growth and rate adequacy.
Develop and enhance pricing models and rating tools to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Partner with global actuarial teams to uplift pricing capabilities and best practice.
Mentor and develop actuarial talent while contributing to the growth of the team.
What you'll need to have 3+ years' experience in General Insurance Pricing as a Senior Actuarial Analyst or equivalent Tertiary qualification in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related discipline, with progress towards Fellowship of the Actuaries Institute.
Strong technical capability in actuarial modelling, data analysis and coding languages such as SQL, R, SAS and VBA.
Advanced analytical, problem-solving and statistical modelling skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to business transformation initiatives.
