Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, Booleroo Centre District Hospital Health Services Salary: OPS2 - $66,441 to $69,504 p.a. (pro rata) + Super + Salary Sacrifice Packaging Employment: Part Time - Ongoing Permanent Contract (15 hours per week) Eligibility: Open to Everyone Bring connection, creativity and quality of life to every day.
About the Role As a Leisure Lifestyle Coordinator, you'll plan, coordinate and evaluate a range of activities that support the quality of life and wellbeing of residents at Booleroo Centre District Hospital Health Services.
You'll develop social, recreational and individual activities suited to residents with varying cognitive and physical abilities, while providing opportunities for social inclusion, stimulation and emotional support.
Working as part of a holistic care team, you'll also contribute to care planning and continuous improvement in line with residents' goals.
About You You'll bring experience working with older, frail or disabled people and a genuine interest in supporting meaningful connections and participation.
You'll be organised, adaptable and confident working with initiative and under indirect supervision.
You'll also have: Experience developing and implementing recreational or social programs.
Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
Positive time management and the ability to prioritise.
Experience working in aged care, health care and/or a rural setting.
Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
A Certificate IV qualification relevant to the role, or a willingness to work towards one, is desirable but not essential.
