We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Sydney team, supporting the delivery of data centre and mission-critical projects.
This role is ideal for an engineer who has built a solid technical foundation and is looking to further develop their design capability, project exposure, and consulting experience within a global, multidisciplinary firm.
You will work alongside experienced engineers and project leaders, contributing to high-quality electrical design outcomes while continuing to build your technical and skilled skills.
Salary: $85k to $95k + Superannuation.
The Opportunity Assist in the design and documentation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and communications Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical documentation in accordance with relevant standards and project requirements Coordinate with other disciplines to support integrated design outcomes Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and internal coordination meetings Support site activities such as inspections, commissioning support, and responding to technical queries Is this role right for you?




A recognised tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within a consulting or design environment A sound understanding of electrical building services systems Exposure to industry-standard electrical engineering software and design tools An interest in developing your technical capability and progressing toward senior-level responsibility What we offer you At Arup, we care about each member's success so we can grow together.
