We are looking for a trustworthy and honest team member to join a boutique hotel, 10 minutes outside from the CBD.
The applicant will be an experienced Hotel Manager or someone who has had experiencing managing a business, to oversee the daily operations of our hotel as well as provide strategic direction.
It is important for the hotel manager to be involved in all aspects of the hotel operations.
You will be just as responsible for dealing with complaints as for future planning and preparing reports.
You will be the point of reference for employees and clients.
The hotel manager must be able to manage a team and guide employees with a kind demeanor.
Essentially a team player and someone who can lead by example and create a consultative culture in the workplace.
The goal is to enhance the reputation of the hotel through positive customer experience and expand our client base.
Requirements and skills A relevant Diploma-level qualification or higher in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related field.
Relevant experience in hotel, accommodation or hospitality management for minimum of one year or higher .
Strong leadership and staff-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid customer-service and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple operational responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.




Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a management team.
Availability to work across a seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays where required.
Responsibilities Supervise work at all levels (reception, housekeeping staff, local vendors) Plan to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the hotel and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model Create reports for the directors, manage budgets/expenses, analyse and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits Develop and implement marketing plans to promote the hotel and its services Communicate with customers when appropriate - (welcoming them, addressing their complaints, finding solutions to problems, offering information) Deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment, renovations etc.
