Responsibilities: Support complex financial crime investigations and remediation projects for clients across the digital assets and cryptocurrency sector.
Conduct investigations into potential AML/CTF, sanctions, fraud and suspicious activity, identifying key risks and control gaps.
Review transaction activity, customer profiles and supporting evidence to identify patterns, anomalies and potential financial crime concerns.
Prepare investigation findings, reports and recommendations, supporting clients through remediation and regulatory responses.




Work closely with client stakeholders to deliver investigations and remediation outcomes across large-scale consulting engagements.
What you'll need to succeed: 5–10 years' experience across AML/CTF, Financial Crime, Investigations or a related discipline.
At least 2 years' hands-on experience within crypto, digital assets or a VASP environment is essential.
Robust understanding of crypto-specific financial crime risks, with exposure to on-chain/off-chain investigations, wallet analysis and emerging typologies highly regarded.
Good knowledge of AUSTRAC regulatory requirements and VASP obligations, including the upcoming Tranche 2 reforms.
Relevant AML, Financial Crime or crypto/digital assets certifications would be advantageous.
