As an
Activity Assistant
, you'll play a vital part in enriching the lives of our residents.
Your day will involve:
Supporting residents in a variety of activities, both within the facility and out in the community
Organising and participating in games, outings, and social events that bring joy and connection
Building meaningful relationships with residents while encouraging fun and engagement
At Victoria Park Home, we're more than colleagues, we're a close knit team.
We work together to manage busy schedules, share plenty of laughs, and create a positive atmosphere for both staff and residents.
This is a part time position working Monday to Friday 8am - 3pm.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Carefully read & follow care plans
Assist with personal care and meeting individual requirements
Work under the guidance of Shift Managers (Nursing & Facility)
Building a strong relationship with residents and their families
Show compassion & exercise patience
About you:
You enjoy interacting with elderly people with strong people skills, and take pride in your work.
Multitasking comes naturally, and you're able to effectively manage your time.

To be considered for this role, you'll need:
Prior experience as a activity assistant or equivalent.
Initiative & the ability to effectively prioritise & multitask
Great communication skills (spoken & written)




Attention to detail will guide you to success in this role
