Competitive base and STI Join a business in exciting growth phase Make an impact and drive operational excellence Our client is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a fast-growing, multi-site restaurant group.
This is a hands-on leadership role covering procurement, supplier management, inventory planning, warehousing and distribution logistics across a national restaurant network.
You'll play a key part in keeping our supply chain efficient, cost-effective and compliant, while building strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, franchise partners and internal teams.
What You'll Do Manage day-to-day supply chain activities, including procurement, supplier management, inventory planning, warehousing and distribution logistics.
Implement approved supply chain plans, priorities and cost-management initiatives across the restaurant network.
Source, assess and onboard suppliers in line with commercial, quality, service and compliance requirements.
Negotiate and manage supplier agreements and trading terms to secure competitive pricing, continuity of supply and strong service standards.
Monitor supplier performance against agreed pricing, quality, availability, delivery and service expectations, addressing issues as they arise.
Track commodity markets, input costs and supply chain risks, recommending practical initiatives to control costs and mitigate disruption.
Manage inventory requirements and supply forecasts in collaboration with Operations, Finance and other departments to balance stock availability with minimal waste.
Support the rollout of new products,
equipment and operational changes by coordinating supplier readiness, product availability and distribution.
Maintain accurate supplier, product, pricing, specification and contract records, and report regularly on supply chain performance, cost movements and savings.
Support quality assurance, traceability and food safety across the supply chain, ensuring suppliers meet Food Standards Australia New Zealand requirements and relevant legislation.
Identify and implement improvements to supply chain processes, systems, reporting and service delivery.
Build strong working relationships with suppliers, distributors, franchise partners, restaurant teams and internal stakeholders.
Manage any direct reports, including setting priorities, monitoring performance and supporting development.
Promptly escalate material supply, pricing, quality or supplier-performance risks to senior leadership.
What We're Looking For Proven experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics management, ideally within hospitality, food service or a multi-site retail workplace.
Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
Solid understanding of food safety, quality assurance and traceability standards.
Experience managing supplier relationships and performance.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage inventory, forecasting and cost data.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a team.
