About the Role
As a Registered Nurse Grade 5, you will play a pivotal leadership role within our residential aged care home, providing clinical leadership, mentoring and support to care teams while ensuring residents receive the highest standard of person-centred care.
You will work collaboratively with staff, residents, families, medical practitioners and allied health professionals to achieve outstanding clinical and care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise and support nursing and care staff to deliver exceptional resident care.
Provide clinical leadership and act as a mentor and role model for the care team.
Coordinate and oversee assessments, care planning and clinical documentation.
Partner with residents and families to support positive care experiences and outcomes.
Monitor clinical standards, aged care compliance requirements and accreditation expectations.
Manage resident care concerns,



complaints and critical incidents professionally and effectively.
Collaborate with GPs, allied health providers and specialists to support residents' health and wellbeing goals.
Support a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and best-practice aged care outcomes.
About You
You are a dedicated Registered Nurse who is passionate about aged care and committed to delivering high-quality, resident-focused services.
To be successful, you will have:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
Demonstrated experience in residential aged care.
Strong clinical assessment, care planning and documentation skills.
Sound knowledge of AN-ACC, aged care standards, infection prevention and workplace health and safety requirements.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to guide, mentor and develop teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work autonomously.
A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering exceptional resident outcomes.
Compliance Requirements
Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards




Current AHPRA Registration
Relevant Nursing qualifications
Current vaccinations (COVID-19 and **** Influenza).
NDIS Check and Working with Children Check.
Eligibility to work in Australia.
