The Role (Snapshot)
As a GP at DYHS, you'll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, culturally appropriate primary care.
Your work will include general practice, health promotion, chronic disease management, and contributing to continuous quality improvement.
You'll also:
Lead and mentor clinical staff and students
Help shape clinical policy, systems & accreditation
Ensure proper Medicare claiming and use of digital health tools
Build relationships with allied health specialists for coordinated care

Who You Are
Registered General Practitioner (AHPRA)
FRACGP / FACRRM / vocational registration
Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills
Cultural awareness and respect for Aboriginal health values
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
Experience in women's, children's or emergency health care; supervisor accreditation; AGPAL understanding.

Valid Working with Children check
Satisfactory National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
Valid driver's licence
Pre-Employment Health Assessment
Flexibility to travel between clinics
Commitment to work a minimum of 2 days per week (0.4 FTE).
