Work on a variety of construction projects About the Role The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities, managing contractors and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Proven ability to manage contracts, budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Ability to identify and resolve construction-related challenges efficiently.
Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) and construction-specific tools (e.g., Procore, Aconex).
Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and other digital construction technologies.
Experience in leading and mentoring teams in a construction environment.
Understanding of sustainable construction practices and environmental compliance.
Ability to manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
About You You will bring demonstrated experience in managing building construction projects with; A degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
A current Queensland Construction White Card Valid Queensland driver's licence.
Demonstrated experience in managing construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
Robust understanding of Queensland building codes, standards, and regulations.
Familiarity with workplace health and safety (WHS) legislation and practices.
