About the prospect We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our administration team.
Reporting to senior management, you will own the full contract lifecycle for our organisation: drafting, negotiation, review, variation management, compliance checking, contract register maintenance, claim settlement support and contractual dispute resolution.
This role will underpin the smooth operation of our training institute, working across internal departments, external suppliers, industry partners and third-party service providers.
You will identify commercial and compliance risks, produce contract-related documentation, and ensure all contractual activities align with regulatory requirements and organisational objectives.
Responsibilities Conduct commercial negotiation with suppliers, industry partners and third-party service providers; negotiate contract clauses covering service fees, payment terms, performance obligations, liability, bonds and compliance requirements to protect organisational interests and mitigate commercial risk.
Independently draft, review and custom-write commercial contracts, service agreements and related documents.
Prepare supplementary variation agreements to adjust scope, pricing and service periods when project or service requirements change.
Perform end-to-end contract risk assessment: review liability clauses, termination terms, compliance and dispute resolution provisions; identify operational and regulatory risks,



embed risk‐mitigation terms and deliver risk analysis reports to support internal business decisions.
Administer contract financial workflows: record service-related penalties, deductions and performance-related adjustments in line with contract conditions; prepare progress settlement claims, collate contractual financial documentation and submit settlement proposals for internal approval.
Interpret contract obligations and regulatory compliance requirements for internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
Mediate and resolve contractual performance disputes through structured negotiation grounded in contract terms; keep abreast of relevant regulatory updates and adjust contract governance accordingly.
Build, maintain and continuously update a central contract register and formal filing system for all contracts, variations, settlement vouchers and correspondence.
Maintain constructive working relationships with external partners to minimise contractual risk and support sustainable business outcomes.
Support cross-functional teams with contract-related advice, document retrieval and contract status reporting to support institute operations and training program delivery.
Skills and Qualification Demonstrated minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Contract Administrator covering full contract lifecycle: negotiation, drafting, review, variation administration, risk assessment, settlement and contract registry management.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
Proven capability to draft, interpret and review commercial agreements; strong awareness of contractual risk, liability and dispute-resolution processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal stakeholders and external third-party negotiation.
Highly organised, detail-oriented; ability to maintain structured contract registers, filing systems and manage multiple concurrent contracts under competing deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel for contract registers and tracking spreadsheets).
