Ampersand has partnered with a leading commercial property organisation with offices across Australia to appoint a National Operations Manager.
n
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the business operates efficiently, securely and consistently, while leading the corporate services function that underpins the entire organisation.
n
This is a highly visible position where you'll partner with senior leaders, influence operational strategy and lead a team responsible for keeping the business running smoothly every day.
n
About the Role
n
Leading a team of five direct reports, you'll oversee the delivery of national corporate services across the business, including:
n
n
HR operations and people support
n
Office management and administration
n
Corporate systems and outsourced IT
n
Risk, governance and compliance
n
Facilities and supplier management
n
Budget management and operational planning
n
n
Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, you'll identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen governance and deliver a seamless employee experience across multiple offices.
n
What You'll Bring
n
We're looking for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and can comfortably move between strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving.
n
You'll likely have 3-5 years' experience in an Office Management, Corporate Services or Business Operations role and be looking for your next career move.
n
You'll also bring experience across several of the following areas:
n
n
Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures and employee lifecycle processes
n
Exposure to managing outsourced IT providers or technology vendors (you don't need to be technical, but you should understand IT infrastructure and know how to manage vendor performance)
n
Experience managing operational or corporate services budgets
n
Knowledge of governance, compliance and business operations
n
Exposure to ISO management systems, particularly ISO ****, ISO *****, ISO ***** and ISO *****, would be highly regarded
n
Exceptional organisational and stakeholder management skills
n
A proactive approach with a genuine passion for continuous improvement
n
