Sunshine Coast Yamaha Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Marine Motor Mechanic to join our growing team in Warana, Queensland.
This is a full time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our customers' marine vessels and equipment.
As a Marine Motor Mechanic, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that every vessel that leaves our facility is in perfect working order.
Your expertise and attention to detail will directly impact customer satisfaction and the reputation of Sunshine Coast Yamaha.
The main focus is the maintenance,



testing and repairing of Yamaha outboards, Waverunners and other small engines, including the tasks, duties and responsibilities noted below: Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in outboard and marine engines and parts; Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers; Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts; Inspecting vessels to ensure seaworthiness and carrying out the remedial work required to achieve seaworthiness; Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of boats and watercraft and ensure compliance with pollution regulations; Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired; Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed; Responding to vessel breakdown service calls; Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate a relevant Qualification and/or 1 to 3 years of relevant marine mechanical employment experience.
A remuneration package of $80,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
